One of the things all of us can do to protect and improve our environment is: recycling. Today, a plastic bottle may contain juice, water or soda … but what can it become after you use it?
Let’s take a look at some of the everyday plastics that you use and what they can become.

How do you recycle plastics? Do you re-create a new object? Tell us... You can produce toys... Yes... TOYS!!!! And it´s very fun... Let´s produce one to play or give to someone... and record the action.
* PSA... Have you ever heard about it? PSA is a Public Service Announcement...

Now... Let´s create a PSA about SUSTAINABILITY. Use your creativity and some information given in this WebQuest and produce a flyer that promotes environmental awareness. You can use the CANVA.

a) Shall we play the video? Gather your colleagues and re-read the video that you have just watched. You can use your cellphone to recreate the song... And then we are going to share it on the school's social network.
But first... let´s check it in our city....
a) How many tons of solid waste does our city produce? You need to figure out the answer to this question... How? Go to the responsible public service...
b) In our city, is there a selective collect? How does it work? Seek the answer and create a folder or video promoting the days of selective collection of neighborhoods in our city and share it on a chosen social media.
* Tips.... you can use "Towntoon" (Tools - Students) to create a video!! Use the answers that you found e produce a video about the importance of Reduce/ Reuse/ Recycle.
4) Do you know Gilberto Gil? Yes? No?
Let´s sing with him... Visit the site www.institutoterra.org and learn about this important project! Now, listen the song "Refloresta" by Gilberto Gil (it´s in Portuguese but you can see the subtitle in English)....
a) Now... you can use the PADLET to create a new reading about the song... Use images and sentences to interpret the song answering: "What´s the main idea about the song?"
* Show, the padlet, to your teacher and post it on school social networks!
